The municipality of Plougrescant is located at the eastern tip of the Pink Granite Coast, 6 km north of Treguier and approximately 20 km northeast of Lannion. The northern part of the municipality is bordered by the English Channel, with the eastern part opening onto the Jaudy estuary. Four monitored bathing sites exist within the municipality: Beg Vilin near the campsite, Pors Hir on the eastern coast, Pors Scaff and Gouermel cove on the western coast. The bathing water is classified as good or excellent quality according to European Directive 2006/7/CE based on sanitary controls from the last four seasons. No exceedances of European standards have been recorded since monitoring began.
