Plougrescant is located at the eastern extremity of the Pink Granite Coast, 6 km north of Tréguier and approximately 20 km northeast of Lannion. The northern part of the municipality is bordered by the English Channel, while the eastern part overlooks the Jaudy estuary. The municipality has four monitored bathing areas: Beg Vilin at the campsite, Pors Hir on the east coast, Pors Scaff, and Gouermel cove on the west coast. Water quality is classified as good or excellent according to EU Directive 2006/7/CE based on sanitary checks from the last four seasons. No exceedances of European standards have been recorded since monitoring began.
