Lake Constance at Rohrspitz Fußach is the third-largest inland lake in Central Europe, shared by Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. The bathing area is located in Austria's Vorarlberg region. By the late 1970s, the lake faced ecological collapse due to untreated wastewater discharges causing algal blooms, but consistent expansion of wastewater treatment facilities in the catchment area has led to recovery. The water body supports swimming and various recreational activities throughout the monitored season.
