Seezugang Therme Lindau is a bathing beach located on Lake Constance in Bavaria, Germany. The beach features an 18,000 square metre bathing area with excellent views across the lake towards the mountains, Austria, and Switzerland. The facility includes a sand beach, a 50-metre outdoor swimming pool, a small children's pool, and a beach volleyball court. A restaurant is available for visitors.

Water

Lake Constance is a natural lake with a surface area of 536 square kilometres and a maximum depth of 251.15 metres. The lake elevation is 395.23 metres above sea level. The water renewal system includes groundwater inflow and throughflow. The ecological status class is very good (oligotrophic). Mean visibility depth is greater than 5 metres. The Bavarian shoreline extends 18 kilometres of the lake's total 273 kilometre shoreline.

Located in the town of Lindau (Bodensee), Bavaria. The health department contact is at Bregenzer Straße 35, 88131 Lindau (Bodensee). Parking is available at the bathing area.

Water Quality

Water quality classification in 2018, 2019, and 2020 was rated as excellent (Class 1). The Rhine enters the lake as a major inflow with a mean discharge of 372 cubic metres per second and a very large catchment area of 11,500 square kilometres, classified as ecological status class very good (ÖZK 1).

Risks

Cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) risk is not known. Macrophyte and filamentous algae risk is not known. Contamination from debris such as tar residue, glass, plastic, or rubber is not known. Bird droppings contamination is not known. Cercariae risk (swimmer's itch) is not known. Short-term pollution may occur from storms causing sediment resuspension lasting 1–3 days. Driftwood accumulations may occur depending on water inflow and current direction.
