Lake Gérardmer in the Vosges region of France contains five bathing sites: one developed facility (Union Nautique) and four natural bathing zones (Quai du Locle, Ramberchamp La Tocade, Ramberchamp Kattendycke, and Le Lido/Le Bout du Lac). The lake is a major summer tourist destination attracting locals and visitors for swimming and water sports. The bathing sites are subject to type 1 bathing water profiles under European and French regulations.
