The Ederauensee Teichmann is a gravel pit lake located in Vöhl-Herzhausen at the foot of the Edertalsperre weir and at the entrance to the Kellerwald-Edersee nature reserve. The lake covers 6.9 hectares and formed through gravel extraction in the Eder floodplain. A private campsite and holiday park operates at the location, offering tourist camping, holiday homes, gastronomy, and leisure facilities. The bathing beach extends 140 meters and consists primarily of gravel, with some flat and some steep shoreline areas. A bathing island is present in the swimming zone.
