Pietre Nere is a bathing area located along a rocky coastline between the mouth of Torrente Favara and the Port of Pozzallo in Sicily. Location

Pozzallo, Sicily (Ragusa province). The bathing area is situated along the coast between the mouth of Torrente Favara and Pozzallo Port. Coordinates: Y = 36.7299, X = 14.8877. The area is difficult to access.

Facilities

The area is free and unequipped. No lifeguard services, toilets, showers, or disabled access facilities are mentioned. Animals may access the beach as there are no municipal ordinances prohibiting entry.

Water quality classification: Excellent. No anomalous situations have been recorded in recent years.

Risks

White water discharge and stormwater overflow structures are present. Heavy rainfall can cause stormwater overflow to be channeled into the bathing waters. No permanent pollution sources are present within the bathing area.
