Daugård Strand is a bathing beach located approximately 3 kilometres south of Daugård By on the north coast of Vejle Fjord. The beach stretches approximately 175 metres and features a sandy beach about 10 metres wide with a large grass area for recreation. The seabed consists of sand with some seaweed, and several coastal protection structures are present. Water temperature in the summer period ranges from 15 to 21 degrees Celsius.

Vejle Fjord (brackish water body). Salinity 16–24 psu. Water depth reaches 2 metres at 40–50 metres from the shore. Sandy seabed with seaweed. The beach stretches approximately 175 metres.

Daugård By, Vejle Fjord north coast, Hedensted Municipality. Located approximately 3 kilometres south of Daugård By. Large car park available. Bus connection available.

Risks

Risk of algal blooms, particularly in periods with warm, sunny, and calm weather; risk of cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) reaching the coast during warm periods with prolonged easterly winds from the Baltic Sea; seaweed (macroalgae) may be washed ashore during storms and strong onshore winds, creating aesthetic problems and potentially causing oxygen depletion during decomposition.
