MareMorto beach in Maratea is a pebble and rocky shore accessible by land, located in the Policastro Gulf in the Basilicata region. The area includes port structures connected to tourist activities. The nearby Crivo beach, accessible via a staircase, is no longer suitable for bathing due to port development.

Classification reference period: 2017–2020. Monitoring conducted monthly from April 1 to September 30. No seasonal bathing bans were issued for the 2020 bathing season.
