The Malcanale bathing area comprises three beaches: Ilicini, a small rocky cove with views of the Matrella and Santo Janni islands situated within a pine forest; Cala Vecchia, a sandy beach located on the flank of the Ilicini promontory; and Cala Jannita (also called Spiaggia Nera), characterized by dark-colored sand and facing the Santo Janni island. The area is frequently visited by swimmers.
