Filocaio is a bathing area located in the Gulf of Policastro, in the Basilicata region near Maratea. It encompasses two small beaches: Funnicu Reggiu, a small cove situated beneath Monte San Biagio where a customs house once operated, and Spiaggia d'I Vranne, a pebble beach beneath coastal cliffs with the Giorgio grotto opening in its southern section. Both beaches are accessible only by sea and are naturally composed of pebbles.
