Fine Penultima Galleria is a bathing water area located on the rocky coast near Moneglia in Liguria. The coastline is high and rocky with no urban settlements present. The area is classified as excellent quality based on 2008-2011 monitoring data. A secondary-level wastewater treatment plant is located at Ciazze.

Water Quality

Classification: Excellent (2008-2011). Identified pollution sources include coastal treatment plant, offshore outfall pipeline, and river mouth. The Ligurian Sea is not characterized by cyanobacterial blooms due to prevailing oligotrophic conditions. No cases of potentially toxic algal strains have occurred in the past four years.

Coastal treatment plant, offshore outfall pipeline, and river mouth identified as potential sources affecting bathing water. Cyanobacterial and macroalgal proliferation risks are minimal.
