Foce Capoiale is a coastal marine bathing water located in Cagnano Varano, in the Foggia province of Puglia. The water body extends 1.27 km and is classified as excellent based on monitoring data from 2017–2020. No short-term pollution events have been recorded in the last four years.

Location

Cagnano Varano, Foggia province, Puglia region. Located 30 meters to the right of the Capoiale mouth.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2017–2020). No direct wastewater discharges to sea. The Foce Capoiale port canal is present at the western boundary of the bathing area.

Risks

The Foce Capoiale port canal is located at the western limit of the bathing area. No algal or cyanobacterial blooms detected. No toxic algal species proliferation recorded in the last four years.
