Scanzano Jonico, Matera Province, Basilicata Region. The bathing area extends from coordinates 40.281398 -16.773394 to 40.287888 -16.777462, with the sampling point at 150 meters south of the Cavone River mouth (40.284866 -16.775848).

1 May to 30 September.

Water Quality

Water quality classification period: 2017–2020. Monitoring conducted monthly from 1 April to 30 September. No bathing prohibitions were in effect during the 2020 bathing season.
