San Basilio Lido is a bathing area in Pisticci, Basilicata, extending between the Cavone and Basento rivers. The zone is frequently visited by swimmers and is part of a coastal settlement model comprising three poles: San Basilio, San Teodoro, and Macchia di Pisticci, all located inland from a pine forest within state-owned land.

Pisticci, Province of Matera, Basilicata region. The bathing area boundaries extend from coordinates 40.307024 -16.791108 to 40.294444 -16.781688. The sampling point is located at coordinates 40.298126 -16.784158.

Water Quality

Classification period: 2017–2020. Monitoring period: 1 April to 30 September. Sampling frequency: monthly. No bathing bans were in effect during the 2020 bathing season.
