Formosa is a sandy beach with fine white sand located in Torres Vedras. It is embedded in a small bay surrounded by high cliffs. A beach support facility is available at the base of the cliffs.

June 12 to September 12, 2021. Sampling conducted triweekly during the bathing season.

Water Quality

Water quality classification for 2020 under Decreto-Lei 135/09 (amended by Decreto-Lei 113/2012). No significant microbiological pollution sources identified in the area. No short-term pollution events recorded in 2020.
