Sandy urban bathing water with rocky formations located in the village of Santa Cruz. The bathing area includes Santa Helena and Guincho beaches. It holds Blue Flag status and Accessible Beach certification. Torres Vedras has maintained QualityCoast accreditation since 2009.

Zero days of bathing prohibition or advisories due to short-term pollution events in bathing season 2020.

Risks

Although rare, short-term pollution events not fully identified may occur. Cyanobacteria, macroalgae, and phytoplankton proliferation are considered unlikely.
