This beach lies in Aukštaitija National Park, on the narrow waterway connecting Lake Baluošas and Lake Alksnas near the Ginučiai watermill. Kayakers using this route must portage their boats by hand along a 30-45 meter stretch of road at this point. The adjacent watermill houses a small museum with preserved original equipment, which operated until 1968 and requires advance booking for visits.
