Hämelsee is a natural bathing lake approximately 6 hectares in size located on the left bank of the Aller river in a forested area near the district of Anderten, northeast of the municipality of Heemsen. A campsite called Rittergut Hämelsee is situated at this location. The lake has low pollution potential with no relevant discharges or uses in the immediate vicinity that could impair bathing water quality.
