Transitional water body (lagoon). Located in the Lesina Lagoon, between the Lauro River and the Schiapparo Outlet, extending to the eastern shore. The Trippa Stream is the hydrographic basin name.

Location

San Nicandro Garganico, Foggia Province, Puglia Region. The bathing area extends 1.147 square kilometers.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2017–2020). No sewage discharge outlets or watercourses that could convey pollution sources into the bathing area. No short-term pollution events recorded in the past four years. No algal or cyanobacterial blooms detected. No proliferation of potentially toxic algal species reported.
