Sottomarina is a bathing beach located on the peninsula separating the Lagoon of Venice and the Adriatic Sea to the south. The beach extends approximately 5 km along the shoreline. The specific bathing area is an equipped beach oriented along a north-south direction, situated approximately 4-6 km south of the Chioggia port entrance and about 400 m north of the Brenta river mouth. The beach width ranges between 50 and 100 m.
