Coastal bathing water on the Atlantic Ocean, forming part of the Rance, Frémur and Baie de Beaussais water management area. The commune's coastline extends approximately ten kilometres along the Atlantic Ocean and the Baie du Frémur.

Location

Saint-Briac-sur-Mer, Ille-et-Vilaine (35), northwestern Brittany, France. The beach is located in the northwest part of the commune, which extends over approximately 8.06 km². The commune is bounded to the east by Saint-Lunaire, to the west by Lancieux, and to the south by Ploubalay and Pleurtuit.

Water Quality

Classified as Type 1 beach, indicating no established pollution risk. Quality evaluation follows EU Directive 2006/7/CE based on bacterial concentrations. Assessment uses data from the four most recent bathing seasons with classification by percentiles for Escherichia coli and intestinal enterococci.
