Location

Quinéville, Manche department, Normandy, France. The beach is located in the commune of Quinéville and is bordered by the communes of Lestre and Fontenay-sur-Mer.

Water Quality

Water quality is monitored for fecal contamination indicators. Historical classification data exists under Directive 76/160/CEE, with simulated classifications under the newer Directive 2006/7/CEE. The profile identifies potential pollution sources including domestic wastewater, stormwater, agricultural activities, and coastal discharges. The objective is to achieve sufficient water quality by 2015.
