The bathing water profile covers the beach at Saint-Germain-de-Varreville, located on the eastern coast of the Cotentin peninsula in the Manche department of Basse-Normandie, France. The monitoring point is situated opposite departmental road RD129. The beach extends across the entire coastline of the commune for approximately 120 metres. This vulnerability profile was developed to identify and prioritize pollution sources that could impact bathing water quality and public health, and to define management actions required to ensure adequate water quality.
