Water quality classification has consistently been rated as Excellent under Directive 2006/7/CE for the periods 1999-2002, 2003-2006, 2007-2010, and 2011-2014. Under Directive 76/160/CEE, classifications were 10A for years 2011-2013 and 10A+1c for 2014. No pollution episodes were recorded. The site is classified as a Type 1 bathing profile, indicating that the risk of water pollution is not established.
