The Etangs de Recht bathing zone (F03) is located in the largest of three ponds at the Etangs de Recht site near Saint-Vith, at an altitude of 400 metres. The bathing area covers 1.7 hectares with a beach length of 74 metres accessible to swimmers. Water depth ranges from 0.80 metres minimum to 2.20 metres maximum. The pond bottom is characterised by mud, and the banks are natural except for a concrete access zone with grassed embankments.
