Levante Foce Rio Crovetto is a predominantly sandy bathing beach located at the mouth of the Rio Crovetto stream in the Ligurian coastal area. The beach area covers 0.864 square kilometres in a flat terrain zone. The bathing water is classified as good quality based on monitoring data from 2009–2012. Private beach facilities and other accommodation structures are present in the area.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Good (2009–2012). No active coastal wastewater treatment plants or Imhoff tanks are present in the area. River mouth discharges identified as pollution source. No special monitoring or management measures are currently activated.

Risks

River mouth discharges present a potential pollution source. The Ligurian Sea is not characterised by cyanobacterial blooms due to prevailing oligotrophic conditions. No cases of potentially toxic algal strain proliferation have been recorded.
