Lido La Torre is a bathing water area located in Santa Caterina dello Jonio, Calabria, along the coast facing agricultural territories between the town centre and the Torrente San Giorgio. The beach is characterized by sandy and pebbly sediments with a gentle slope averaging 1.1% from the shoreline to the 5-metre depth contour. Particle size of submarine beach sediments ranges from 0.13 to 2 mm. The water body extends over an area of 1.644 square kilometres.
