Lido Laghi di Sibari is a coastal bathing area located in Cassano all'Ionio, Calabria. The beach features sandy shores with a geomorphological character of a delta-facing coast. The seafloor has a gradual slope of 2.5% from the shoreline to the 5-meter isobat, with underwater bars and sand ridges arranged in series. The sediment composition consists of medium-grain sand.

Cassano all'Ionio, Cosenza Province, Calabria. The area is located in front of the urban center of Laghi di Sibari. Area extends 1.011 square kilometers.

Risks

Short-duration pollution events from agricultural runoff have been identified. No cyanobacterial blooms or algal proliferation events have been recorded in the sea and inland waters in the past four years.
