Base Nautica with sanitary facilities (toilets). Animals are permitted in the area.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2015–2018). Escherichia coli: 95th percentile 190 CFU/100 ml, 90th percentile 107 CFU/100 ml. Intestinal enterococci: 95th percentile 57 CFU/100 ml, 90th percentile 31 CFU/100 ml. Anomalous situations were detected on 07.05.2012 (800 CFU enterococci, 1700 CFU E. coli) and 11.06.2012 (2150 CFU E. coli), exceeding limit values established by Decree 30.03.2010.

Risks

Short-duration pollution events may occur from intense meteorological events, accidental discharges, and malfunctioning overflow or treatment systems. Cyanobacterial monitoring has been conducted; concentrations have remained below threshold values. No toxic effects on swimmers or aquatic environment have been reported. Macroalgal and phytoplankton proliferation is not applicable.
