Localita Lido (Area Feste) is a bathing area on Lake Iseo in Lombardy. The beach was converted from a former industrial site into public green space. During summer, the area hosts festivals and events and becomes a popular swimming location.

Water Quality

Excellent water quality classification (2020–2022). Escherichia coli at 95th percentile: 158 CFU/100 ml; at 90th percentile: 85 CFU/100 ml. Intestinal enterococci at 95th percentile: 26 CFU/100 ml; at 90th percentile: 16 CFU/100 ml. No bathing bans in place. Water quality trend is constant (2020–2022). No exceedances of limit values recorded in the last four bathing seasons.

Risks

Potential pollution sources include tourist influx, weather conditions, and accidental discharges. Intense meteorological events, accidental discharges, and malfunctioning overflow systems or treatment facilities are possible causes of short-duration pollution events. No toxic effects from cyanobacteria were recorded. No anomalous events occurred in the last eight years.
