Porto is a bathing area located in Padenghe on Lake Garda in the Brescia province of Lombardia. The beach accommodates approximately 200 swimmers. The area includes a port with boat docking facilities, bar, restaurant, and toilet services. Rest areas along the promenade are also used for picnicking.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is pending. No major construction works or infrastructure changes have been identified in the bathing water or its immediate surroundings.

Risks

Short-term pollution events have been identified from sewage system failures and overflow outlets. Emergency discharges occur at the surface and depth of the sewage collector. Rainwater runoff leaching actions also contribute. Cyanobacterial and macroalgal proliferation have not been observed in recent years.
