Location

Numana, Ancona province, Marche region, Italy. The beach is 400 metres long and 50 metres wide. Parking and facilities are available at the beach.

Facilities

Lifeguard and first aid services, disabled facilities, toilets, food and beverage services, sports facilities, children's play structures, launch corridor for boat boarding and disembarking for daily excursion trips to Twin Sisters. Windsurfing and sailing schools are present in the area.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Category E. Wastewater treatment is provided by a centralized biological treatment plant with activated sludge process located in Castelfidardo (capacity: 62,000 equivalent inhabitants). Monthly monitoring by ARPAM in 2010 showed E. coli levels ranging from below detection limit to 110 UFC/100 ml, all results complying with authorized limits. No pollution sources identified as affecting bathing water quality.
