Location

Lesina, Foggia Province, Puglia region. The bathing area extends along the western shore of Lesina Lagoon to the locality of La Punta, covering an area of 0.79 km.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2017–2020). No direct wastewater discharges to sea are present. The main potential pollution source is the mouth of the Fucicchia Canal, though this has not resulted in documented short-term pollution events over the last four years.
