Mažosios Dailidės lake bathing site is located in Alytus city municipality in Lithuania. The beach is public with a semi-natural shoreline composed of sand, gravel, and mud. The bathing area extends 300 metres in length with average water depth of 1.75 metres for children and maximum depth of 2.8 metres. Water quality from 2018 to 2024 has consistently met excellent quality standards.

Mažoji Dailidė lake, type 2 lake. Beach length 300 metres. Average water depth 1.75 metres, maximum depth 2.8 metres. Located in the Nemunas river basin (LT1100), Nemunas minor tributaries sub-basin.

Location

Alytus city, Alytaus apskritis district, Lithuania. Coordinates: 54.3928°N, 24.0610°E.

Facilities

Rescue point with first aid equipment, rest areas, sports facilities, children's playground. Two toilets available. No showers. Ten waste bins maintained daily during bathing season and disinfected weekly. Maximum capacity approximately 40–50 visitors during peak season.

Season

Official monitoring season 2024. Water characterisation updated if quality changes from excellent to good, satisfactory, or poor.

Water Quality

Water quality classified as excellent from 2011 to 2024. Ecological potential rated as good, meeting good ecological status requirements. Monitoring based on 2006/7/EB directive standards. Water transparency was monitored; phosphorus and nitrogen levels were not tested.

Risks

Short-term pollution possible during heavy rainfall; pollution subsides within 1–2 days after rain. Surface water runoff from surrounding forests. No concentrated pollution sources identified. No algae bloom studies conducted.
