Plage du Miné is one of five beaches in the downtown corniche area of Concarneau, located in a small coastal urban setting with medium bathing frequency. The beach is part of a network of beaches including Cornouaille, Dames, Libération, and Rodel-La Croix. The water quality may be influenced by storm overflows from the Miné and Pénéroff outfalls, though significant works including a 425 cubic meter buffer basin were underway at the Miné outfall at the time of this profile. Green algae beaching is possible on these beaches depending on the year, tides, and wind direction.
