Water

The Orb river. The study zone covers a surface area of 168 km². The stream widens into the plain downstream of its confluence with the Jaur and presents predominantly lotic facies. Low-flow discharge (QMNja, July-August) is 5.4 m³/s. Summer flood discharge is 19 m³/s. The linear distance corresponding to the reference low-flow discharge is approximately 13.8 km.

Vieussan, on the Orb river. The study zone encompasses the Orb basin downstream of Hérépian to the bathing point in Vieussan and the Jaur downstream of the hamlet of Julio.
