Location

Cervo, province of Imperia, Liguria region. The municipality of Cervo is located at Salita al Castello 15, accessible via the local port authority.

Sea bathing facilities with associated services and other accommodation structures are available in the area.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2008–2011). River mouths (Rio Bondal, Rio Schenassi) are identified as pollution sources. No coastal sewage treatment plants, pumping stations, or Imhoff tanks are present in the area.

Risks

River mouth discharges present; however, the Ligurian Sea exhibits no cyanobacterial blooms due to oligotrophic conditions, and no cases of potentially toxic algal strain proliferation have been recorded.
