Identified pollution sources include urban context, agricultural activities, industrial activities, wastewater treatment, non-collective sanitation, rainwater, port activities, camper vans, bird droppings, and inputs from adjacent water masses.

Risks

Potential risks include proliferation of potentially toxic organisms such as cyanobacteria and phytoplankton, macroalgae, jellyfish, pollution from macro-waste, hydrocarbon pollution, and flooding sensitivity. Short-term pollution events are also documented.
