The Camping Municipal beach is located in Sainte-Eulalie-en-Born, a commune in the Landes department of Aquitaine, France. The beach is situated south of Lake Parentis-Biscarrosse and measures 156 metres in length and 31 metres in width, covering a total area of 5,180 square metres. The beach has a sandy substrate with modified banks and experiences water circulation from north to south. The designated swimming zone covers 90 by 80 metres with an average depth of 70 centimetres and a maximum depth of 95 centimetres.

Location

Sainte-Eulalie-en-Born, Landes department, Aquitaine region, approximately 40 kilometres south-west of Teste-de-Buch. The beach is situated at 27 metres altitude with coordinates 44° 16' 26'' North, 1° 10' 60'' West. Access is available by road or pedestrian path, with parking and camping-car facilities nearby.

Water Quality

Water quality classification A (good quality) for years 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012. Under the 2006 Directive simulation, the bathing water is classified as excellent quality. E. coli and enterococci monitoring conducted regularly. In 2012, one E. coli result exceeded the guide value of 100 UFC/100 ml, but no results exceeded the imperative value of 2000 UFC/100 ml. Since 2000, 9.9% of analyses exceeded the E. coli guide value and 0.8% exceeded the imperative value.
