Three bathing beaches located on the eastern shore of Lake Parentis-Biscarrosse in the Landes department of Aquitaine, France. The beaches are Calède, Moutéou Pipiou, and Plage du Port. The bathing season runs from early June to mid-September. The lake is the second largest in the Landes region, covering 3345 hectares.

Lake Parentis-Biscarrosse, the second largest lake in the Landes by surface area (3345 hectares). Water circulates from west to east. Average depth at Plage du Port is 70 cm (maximum 100 cm). Average depth at Moutéou Pipiou is 80 cm (maximum 120 cm). Submerged vegetation includes Lagarosiphon major.

Location

Parentis-en-Born, a town of 5276 inhabitants in the Landes department, 80 km from Mont-de-Marsan and Dax, 80 km northeast of Bordeaux. The bathing zones are situated east of Lake Parentis-Biscarrosse. Access is by road, footpath, or boat. Parking is available at Moutéou Pipiou and Calède beaches.
