Ancha is a 765-metre beach in Casares, Málaga, with an average width of 30 metres composed of dark sand. The beach features calm bathing waters and a moderately exposed shoreline with a micromareal range of 0-2 metres. It is located in the Mediterranean Sea and influenced by Atlantic waters, with a dominant current flowing northeast and wave patterns driven mainly by easterly and east-southeasterly winds.

Casares, Málaga, Andalucía, Spain. Access by car. Located along the Málaga coast near Punta de Calaburra and the Guadiaro river mouth. Puerto Deportivo La Duquesa nearby.

Diffuse sources include land use in the influence zone and altered built surfaces. Low risk of jellyfish proliferation, low risk of phytoplankton proliferation, medium risk of macroalgae proliferation.
