La Galera-Dorada is a natural coastal beach in Estepona, Málaga, stretching 1,670 meters in length with an average width of 20 meters. The beach features a composition of gravel and dark sand, with shallow waters and moderate wave conditions. It experiences a micromareal range of 0–2 meters and is moderately exposed to waves, primarily from the east and east-southeast wind.

Located in Estepona, Málaga, Andalusia, along the Mediterranean coast. Access is available by car. The beach is part of the Litoral de Málaga area.

Surveillance equipment available. Waste bins present. Cleaning service available. Boat rental available. No lifeguard post, no toilets, no showers, no disabled access, no signage, no boardwalk, no walkways.

Water quality classification: Excellent for all monitoring seasons from 2013 to 2016. Low microbiological contamination risk of short duration (24 hours). Low risk of jellyfish, phytoplankton, and macroalgae proliferation.

Risks

Low short-term microbiological contamination risk from diffuse sources including land use in the influence zone and altered built-up surfaces.
