Cala Nova is a natural bathing beach located on the island of Ibiza in the Balearic Islands. The beach is 400 metres long and 45 metres wide with a gentle slope. It is a free-access recreational bathing area used daily by foreign visitors and experiences medium-level attendance. The water body is characterized by currents but no whirlpools or undertow.

Cala Nova is located on Ibiza in the municipality of Santa Eulalia del Río, Balearic Islands, Spain. Pedestrian access is good, vehicle access is good, and parking is available and good quality. Disabled access is available but regular in quality.

Water state classification 2022-23: Good. No short-duration pollution episodes recorded (2019-2022). No exceptional pollution episodes recorded (2019-2022). Floating waste accumulation: Low (2019), Very low (2020, 2021), Low (2022). Identified pollution sources include a pumping station overflow 1.1 km away, septic tanks, and storm drains.

Risks

Jellyfish occasionally reported. No history of harmful phytoplankton or cyanobacteria proliferation.
