Playa del Grao is a maritime bathing beach located in Moncofa, Castellón, Valencia. The beach has an irregular closed configuration with perpendicular breakwaters and a rigid promenade. It has a shoreline of 1232.8 meters and an average width of 38.6 meters, composed of sand and pebbles of artificial origin. The beach is bordered to the north by Playa Pedra-Roja and to the south by Playa Masbó.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent for the 2020–2023 monitoring seasons. The water mass is in Good ecological status. Monitoring point: Plaza Pintor Sorolla (coordinates 745659, 4409264, zone 30 ETRS89), established in 1988. Weekly inspections during bathing season assess visual inspection parameters, water appearance, sand cleanliness, and maintenance of facilities.
