Platja de Llevant is a beach located in the highly urban environment of Barcelona within the Mediterranean Sea. It is bounded by breakwaters at both ends, separating it from the future marine zoo site to the northeast and from Platja de la Nova Mar Bella to the southwest. The beach has a mean width of 30 metres, a length of 218 metres, and experiences high summer occupancy. It features coarse sand sediment with a very steep water entry slope and a coastline evolution rate of -3.6 metres per year.
