Tamarit Beach is a semi-enclosed sandy beach located in Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain, stretching 1,150 metres in length with an average width of 62 metres. The beach features fine sand and a steep water entry slope, situated in a largely natural setting near the mouth of the Gaià River, bordered by the Tamarit Castle and natural reserve to the south and open to Altafulla Beach to the north. The beach experiences medium summer occupation and is part of the Mediterranean coastal water bodies C25 and C26.
