El Lance de la Virgen is a natural coastal bathing water located in Adra, Almería, in the Mediterranean Sea. The beach extends 725 metres in length with an average width of 15 metres and is composed of gravel and dark sand. It experiences moderate wave conditions and is often windy, with low occupancy levels.

Currents dominant towards east, east-southeast, and east-northeast. Moderately exposed to waves, predominantly from east and east-northeast with levante wind association. Annual precipitation 400–600 mm with torrentiality index 25–50%.

Adra, Almería, Andalucía, Spain. Easy access on foot or by vehicle. The sports port of Adra is located 3 km away.

Facilities

Surveillance equipment present. Cleaning service available. No lifeguard station. No lifesaving equipment. No toilets, showers, or disabled access. No signage or warning signs. No maritime facilities on the beach.

Classified as excellent water quality for bathing seasons 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. Short-duration microbiological contamination risk assessed as low using deterministic methodology (UNE 150008 standard). Diffuse pollution sources identified from agricultural, built, and altered land uses in the influence zone. Specific point sources not recorded.
