Los Nardos is a natural coastal bathing water in Almería, Spain, characterized by deep sandy substrates with gravel and rocks. The beach stretches 2,100 meters in length with an average width of 35 meters and is semi-urbanized with high occupancy. Waters are generally tranquil with moderate wave exposure dominated by easterly and north-easterly winds. The area is protected and designated as a bathing water from 1 June to 30 September.

Water

Mediterranean coastal water body with deep sandy substrate containing gravel and rocks. The water mass is influenced by the Segura River Basin. Microtidal range of 0–2 meters. Water flow currents are dominant toward the east, east-southeast, and east-northeast.

Location

Located in Pulpí, Almería, Andalucía, Spain on the Mediterranean coast. The beach is easily accessible on foot and by car. Accessible facilities for disabled visitors are available.

Facilities

Red Cross post, lifeguards, emergency rescue equipment, signage, walkways, disabled access, toilets, waste bins, and cleaning service available.

Classified as excellent for all monitoring seasons from 2016 to 2019. Water quality classification is based on short-duration microbiological contamination risk assessed as low. No point-source pollution identified.
