Mediterranean coastal waters with deep sandy substrate containing gravel and rocks. Water body code: 710000. Microtidal range of 0-2 meters. Currents predominantly flow east, southeast, and northeast. Wave regime dominated by easterly and northeast winds associated with Levante wind.

Location

Located in Pulpí, Almería, Andalucía, Spain. The beach is easily accessible on foot and by car. The nearest sports port is Águilas, approximately 10 kilometers away.

Facilities

Red Cross lifeguard post and rescue equipment present. Showers and waste bins available. Accessible ramps and disabled access provided. Signage and hazard warning signs displayed. No boardwalk. Cleaning service available.

Classified as Excellent for all monitoring seasons: 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. Low microbiological contamination risk of short duration (24 hours). Low risk of proliferations for jellyfish, phytoplankton, and macroalgae.
